A life-sized humanoid puppet called “the figure”. It ressembles the artists own body by appearance and size. It can move and it’s very light. The puppet will be brought to “life” by the interaction with it. This performance was an exploration of the artists connection to the puppet and how their bodies influence each other by reacting and adapting. Two entiites; A deep dive into the space, where Codependency and Autonomy, Reaction and Action, Influence and Unpredictibility are intertwined wih each other.

This is part of an ongoing project. The puppet is a tool to explore where bodies and beings end and where the other begins. “The figure” has been part of a group exhibition in Coalmine Winterthur Zurich. Every performance is a continuation of a process with the figure. Every performance is unique.
The focus and content transforms according to the location, momentum and atmosphere.
